The space

Two floors. Two terraces. One remarkable view.

Casa Sissi occupies the first floor of a small, quiet private residence right in the centre of Riva di Solto — one of Lake Iseo’s most unspoilt villages. The apartment was recently renovated with care: light-filled rooms, thoughtful furnishings, and two outdoor spaces that give you the lake from every angle.

The living room opens through two large French doors onto a generous terrace facing the lake — this is where breakfast happens, where aperitivo stretches into dinner, where the lake does what it does best as the light changes through the day. The master bedroom has a double bed, a spacious wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and its own private balcony. The second bedroom has two single beds (one pull-out). The bathroom features a large walk-in shower, bidet and washbasin.

Downstairs at ground level — accessed through the private garage — you’ll find a small laundry room and an outdoor space that belongs entirely to you: a wide covered porch with outdoor sofa, sun loungers and a barbecue, plus a sheltered garden seating area for the coolest hours of summer afternoons.

Air conditioning, washing machine, flat-screen TVs in both living room and master bedroom, Lavazza capsule coffee machine, fully equipped kitchen — all included. Pets welcome on request (supplement applies).

⬡ Before You Book — A Few Things Worth Knowing

🚗 The garage ramp The garage entrance has a steep concrete dip that can catch low-clearance cars underneath. Several guests have noted it — SUVs and crossovers manage without issue, but standard low-slung saloon cars may not. Free street parking is available approximately 50 metres away and is not a problem out of high season. If you’re unsure, ask Luigi before arrival: he’ll tell you if your car works.

🚿 Hot water The boiler is sized for comfortable standard use but can run low if several showers follow each other in quick succession. A short gap between showers is enough to recover. Worth knowing if you’re travelling as a group of four.

🐶 Pets and supplements Pets are welcome but must be declared at the time of booking — a supplement applies. This is stated clearly in the listing and is standard across all IVH properties. Please don’t arrive with an undeclared pet: it creates unnecessary friction for everyone.

📋 Identity verification and check-in Italian law requires hosts to collect and transmit identity documents for every guest. Our online check-in process — which includes an identity selfie — is a legal obligation, not a personal preference. It makes for a smooth, keyless arrival. The team is always reachable via WhatsApp if anything needs clarifying before or during the process.

🧹 Cleaning fees Like all IVH properties, Casa Sissi has a fixed cleaning fee that covers fresh linen, towels and a full apartment preparation for your arrival. Location

Riva di Solto is a small village on the western shore of Lake Iseo, roughly halfway between Lovere to the north and Sarnico to the south. It’s a genuine Italian village — a small piazza, a handful of restaurants and cafés, a deli, a butcher, and a harbour. Not a resort. Not a tourist destination in itself. Exactly the kind of place that guests who’ve already done Garda and Como come looking for.

The village is explorable entirely on foot. Il Bogn — a natural swimming area framed by dramatic overhanging rock faces — is 5 minutes’ walk. The lakeside promenade extends in both directions. For everything further afield, a car is needed.
