Casa del Sole occupies two floors in a quiet residential building in Via Trobiolo — a five-minute walk from the centre of Pisogne, eight minutes from the lake. The layout is generous without being complicated: two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the upper floor, living area and kitchen below, and a small balcony on the lower level that catches the morning light and faces the lake on one side.

The kitchen is fully equipped — Nespresso machine, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, fridge/freezer, all the essentials for a proper stay. One bathroom has a Jacuzzi bathtub. The other is standard. Both are clean and well-maintained.

Guests from eight countries have stayed here consistently and said the same thing: it’s more than they expected. Larger, better equipped, easier to settle into.

📺 No television Casa del Sole does not have a TV. This is a consistent feature of the apartment, not an oversight. Most guests don’t mention it. A handful do — and those who expected a TV bring a laptop and report it was no issue. Worth knowing in advance.

🪜 Internal staircase The apartment is on two floors, connected by an internal staircase. Not suitable for guests with significant mobility limitations.

📍 Google Maps and the address Several guests mention that Google Maps occasionally directs to the wrong end of Via Trobiolo, which does not connect through. Location

Pisogne is a small historic town at the northern tip of Lake Iseo, where the lake narrows between the mountains of Val Camonica and the Bergamo foothills. It has a proper medieval centre — churches, courtyards, cobblestones — and a lakefront promenade that is genuinely worth the eight-minute walk.

This is not a resort town. It’s a working community with character: good restaurants, bars, a Friday market, and the kind of local rhythm that makes you feel like you’re staying in Italy rather than on top of it.

From Pisogne, the whole lake is accessible. Iseo town is 30 minutes south. The ferry to Monte Isola from Sulzano is 20 minutes. Lovere, at the northern tip, is 20 minutes in the other direction. Franciacorta wine country is under 40 minutes.
